Cancellation & Refund Policy
Initial Assessment & First Session Bookings
Initial Assessments (for individuals or couples) and the first therapy session must be booked online via our website and are payable in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations must be made with at least 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund.
Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice, missed sessions, or late arrivals will be charged in full.
If lateness prevents completion of the Initial Assessment, the client may be asked to book and pay for another session.
Ongoing Therapy Sessions (Weekly Pay-as-you-go)
After the initial stage, ongoing therapy sessions are charged weekly using the client’s securely stored card details via Stripe.
Payment is taken automatically approximately 48 hours before each session.
Clients must ensure funds are available in their account.
If payment is not successfully processed by 24 hours before the session, the appointment will be cancelled, but you will still be charged in full.
Ongoing weekly bookings reserve the client’s chosen day and time as their regular therapy slot, provided payments are up to date.
Cancellations & Missed Sessions - Ongoing Therapy
Cancellations must be made with at least 7 days’ notice to avoid being charged.
Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice, missed sessions, or late arrivals will be charged in full.
In the event of a genuine emergency, charges may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the therapist. This only applies to ongoing therapy sessions.
Any amounts owed by the client will be charged following the session. If payment is not settled, automated attempts will be made to retrieve the outstanding balance. If the amount remains unpaid after one week and no contact has been made by the client, the client will be formally discharged from therapy.
If a client fails to contact their therapist within 48 hours of a missed session without prior notice, they may be discharged from therapy.
Refunds
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
Refunds are not available for missed or cancelled sessions unless the required 7 days’ notice has been given.
